Sharply high rates of unemployment in Iran

Iran suffers from a severe crisis in unemployment for years, where the number of college graduates than there are nearly two million and 200 thousand this year, and who still can not find jobs, it is expected that this number will double by 2020.

According to the report, the high official unemployment rate proves the inability of successive Iranian governments in the face of the unemployment crisis, in spite of government promises to address this phenomenon through the launch of projects for the unemployed.

The report confirms that the unemployment rate started to increase since the Iranian President «Hassan Rowhani» governance, where the year 2010 saw the highest rates of unemployment stood at 13.5%, at a time when economic growth in the same year of 6.5%, the highest growth rate between 2005 and 2014.
